What's Included

THE OAK BARN

This room is situated by the lake and has an attractive oak beamed roof and porch. The picture windows look on to the lake. There is a kitchen available for your caterer. The room is provided with chivari lime washed chairs and tables to decorate as you wish. There are toilets for your guests.

This centrally heated room is suitable for smaller parties of up to 60 guests

THE BIG BARN

Linked to the Oak barn by two sets of double doors this barn can be marquee lined or left as it is with the Yorkshire boarding and brickwork, depending on your style. We are happy to recommend marquee companies who can quote for any additional requirement, such as draping or carpeting.

This room can accommodate 120 people.

There is also a stage, this room is also centrally heated.

You may use any of our approved caterers/bar companies and we can recommend events planners and table decorators (see preferred suppliers).

THE CHAPEL OF SAINT MARY AND EVERILDA

This stunning grade one listed Chapel is available to hire for civil weddings and blessings. Seats 150 comfortably. It is privately owned and therefore we do not have a resident vicar or priest, however we have celebrants who we can recommend who can tailor your service to your requirements. (see links to suppliers).
Another possibility is that if you have a friend who is a minister of religion you may ask them to perform a service blessing in the Chapel.
You may also choose to have the legal ceremony at a registry office and just have a non-religious celebratory service followed by a reception.

FAMILY EVENTS

Civil naming ceremonies for children, funerals and memorial services can all be accommodated.

BUSINESS

The rooms are available for businesses, clubs and societies to hire for events and meetings.

Refreshments or meals can be provided by arrangement with one of our approved caterers. (See preferred suppliers).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Arrangements with caterers, events planners, marquee companies, car decorators or any third party are made directly by the booker and not with Everingham Park

There is a refundable damages deposit of £500

The cut off time for events is 24:00 (bar closure 23.30)

The rooms are available to decorate the day before the event and clear the day after.

Visitors, especially those with children are reminded that the premises are close to a lake and they are responsible for their own safety and that of their children.

RENTAL

Oak Barn/Big Barn and use of chapel :

ACCOMODATION

A spacious and attractive apartment in the Hall is available to hire by separate arrangement accommodating seven people in three bedrooms. There is a sitting room, bathrooms and kitchen included.
