People sometimes feel a desire to mark their special occasion in a particular way such as a Ceremony of Blessing; this can be for wedding celebrations, anniversaries, remembrances and commemorations, the birth of a child, special birthdays - and more. All of these occasions are times for thanksgiving and an opportunity to receive God’s blessing for the future but without the formality of a traditional, religious service.
It is rather a more personal ceremony whose contents can be tailored to the individuals concerned so it can be as meaningful as possible for them. The breathtaking setting of the Everingham Park Chapel also means it can be made as intimate or inclusive an occasion as people desire.

With a background as a registrar, Sophie now enjoys the freedom and creativity of being a Celebrant to make your ceremony unique.
Alongside this Sophie has many years of experience as a professional singer. She can therefore add an optional but truly memorable touch to the proceedings by singing your choice of meaningful songs.

Barking Mad offers a dog wedding chaperone service. We specialise in making it easy and stress-free for couples to include their beloved dogs in their wedding day – whether that’s ensuring their dog is well looked after, posing for photos, or simply being part of the celebration.
